In daggerfall you can basically buy very cheap short duration spells and custom create a character with spell absorption then rent a inn for 99 days
You can absorb your own explosive spells and other ones you train by casting until you run out of spell points
You then sleep after you casted a spell from each school a certain number of times
You can get massive improvement in spell casting and cast super long duration invisiblity or regeneration or other spells
With invisibility plus comprehend languages most creatures can not see you in daggerfall
With high health healing regeneration and a shield spell you are invincible for hours accept fatigue which can be healed with a heal fatigue spell
In summary you are so powerful in daggerfall you do not need to fight most things except if an enemy is blocking your way or is needed to be defeared for a quest and daggerfall is super easy compared to morrowind
Arena is also easy
@GrungeQueef @nugger
Morrowind is boring to me conpared to daggerfall & arena because it is a slow pace walking every where with very little fighting and no fast travel map
Redguard is more of a action game than a role playing game & is in a completely different style than all the other games in the series
Reguard is more of a fencing simulator & walking simulator
Daggerfall is complicated to learn but I have not seen any let's plays that look better than daggerfall with newer elder scrolls
@GrungeQueef @nugger
There is also a early elder scrolls game called battle spire that I have never played
By the way Daggerfall and maybe also Arena are 100% legal to play for free
Bethesda or whatever comoany owned the rights used to let people download it / them from their website for free after a certain year instead of selling them for money
Nowadays people spent years making Daggerfall Unity with new features and for new operating systems
I never tried Unity but it looks really good
