@ceo_of_monoeye_dating i just checked 400 pennys and found 1 from 2000 and odly one wheat penny. I sift for all coppers (59-82) its one way i make real money without doing anything more than looking. Ive foubd all these over about 2 years and i bought that red roll in there from apmex its a canadian roll. I rechecked all illegible dates as well as 82's they stsrted production of the soy coins half way through the year the real copper weights 2.9-3.1 grams but u have to check em u cant go off look
Can you make more than minimum wage based on how much money per time you make doing this?
@shortstories well a copper pennys worth .03 $ so u could if u handled volume problem is u cant melt them legally yet but u could. I find silver all the time in the supply still but its really jist another little money hole ive plugged up. Its free u jist gotta look

If ypu hoard the copper penny's as inflation increases the copper pennies will be worth more in the future because the cost of the same mass or volume of copper will increase
When the government collapses no one can prevent you from melting them down but they might be more valuavle than a normal penny in the unmelted form afyer the collapse
Ypu could also sell them to rare coin collectors
@shortstories oh sure thats why im keeping em theyre an amazing hedge for free but the legality is only an issue for the sake of scrap buyers u can buy and sell silver and gold coins for scrap content but u cant sell the pennys till at least next year but therell be a wide margin for collector grade coins i have some amaxing looking pieces almost BU quality
