At a certain point I accepted that I do not like eating with other people
Even if I meet people I tell them I do not want to eat food with them
It makes them unhappy but it makes me very happy
I do not have to worry as much about accidental food contamination
Also I knew a man who was very skinny to a unhealthy degree and he said he got food poisoning from eating at potlocks or groups where they share food cooked by each other
I have peace of mind eating alone
I actually feel better now that I eat food with other people less often
I went to a lot of group meetings with food involved and now I am happy not to be a part of the group meetings where I get punished for expressing my own ideas and to just freely choose who I do not associate with anymore
