Fake martial arts taught by real Asian instructor
Technically some of the martial arts are real but he is not very good at using them on compretant trained people but pretends to have greater credentials to make money
Wushu really only works on somebody who doesn't know how to fight. I had a "kung fu guy" spar with me way back when I wasn't a busted up fat old man - I took him apart with ease. He didn't know how to get off the X - kept standing right in front of me. Finally I palmed him on the top of his head (which I probably shouldn't have done) and he went down like a bag of shit.
Wushu mostly comes from chinese theatre, it's stage fighting. Actual traditional chinese martial arts were more practical and less flashy.
