Some of the most obnoxious people want to move to or visit Japan
I am not saying Japan is bad
These people are often very rude and many Japanese people do not like them just like many people in their own home country do not like them
They also think they've mastered the Japanese language but would know less than half the words in a Japense 5th grade textbook
But I am not talking about all people wanting to move to or visit Japan

Maybe if they really are guilty & they really did do something bad, but the legal system is worse in some aspects than the United States and European legal system
Anyway I know enough about South East Asian culture not to want to go to Japan
I do not like Confucianism I think it is why they were behind Europe in technology for so many centuries until recently
I would not want to try to fit in in an oppressive Confucian structure & would rather just leave them alone & be left alone
