So mental illness influences people to get hair dye but we do not know that hair dye does not additionally bring about mental illness if applied to someone who is not mentally ill without their consent
No sane person would agree to receive the hair dye, so we can not test it on a willing volunteer who is not mentally ill
As such the experiment would be unethical because it violates consent of exoerimental treatment
