@GrumpyRabbit I actually don't like this, if it will prevent legal residents from also using the banks. I don't think that legal noncitizen residents in the #USA should be forced to use cash.

Legal noncitizens get a taxpayer ID number, so I doubt they would be excluded.
Illegals should already be excluded, since banking requires a valid SS# and ID.
I guess they use ID theft (and Fake ss numbers) to get around this. requiring banks to verify the SS number, doesn't seem like a big deal. That being said, I am personaly apalled at how the government has turned banks into a kind of federal police force.
