I think veganism is more crue! to animals than vegetarianism
With vegetarianism humans can protect and care for animals without killing them in exchange for milk, honey and eggs
With veganism they are just going to release a bunch of farm animals who will be killed by predators because people get nothing in exchange for continuing to care for farm animals that can no longer help themselves due to centuries of donestication

And vegans eat lugumes and cereals grown by farmers who had to kill tens of thousands of pests to protect each tonne of legume/cereal as it grew, matured, was harvested and was processed.
Whereas a beef steer only dies once...

But don't farmers also kill animals that eat plants that beef steers eat
Pasture farmers rarely bother, at least around here.
