im trying to understand how well costed this card is...maybe not too bad...plus there could be ramp or tricks...only other card like it i can think of is ral zarek's ability...

It’s just a gonzo joke card, I have no idea how fair it is.

But taking on average 2.5 extra turns? it seems like just casting it once like win the game

tradeoffs are you have to keep ral zarek alive three more turns...but much harder to counter an ability...

Mine is a fake card, so I don’t worry about balance. Ral Zarek was killed off though wasnt he?

in the storyline???...never followed it...or did they ban the card you mean??? I dont remember it being banned in limited back when I played that cycle...wasnt all that strong tbh...

In the story. They killed him off.

Oh well. I’m not huge into the story anyway. Nissa and Jace were well-concieved but I was unimpressed by the rest of them.
