North Korea might have less racial diversity and a higher birth rate than South Korea but South Koreans do not want to live there and many North Koreans would flee to South Korea if they could get away with it

I guess North Korea is a great example of why the race of people in the country you live in is not more important than their culture

This is true, but a significant percentage of South Koreans also don't want to live in South Korea

But you have to ask if the reason South Koreans do not want to live in South Korea is to get away from other Koreans?

The school and work culture is pretty brutal and employees are pretty disposable after 40. Especially among the young, there's a huge divide in values between men and women, dwarfing what we see in the west.

There are millions of non-Koreans in South Korea. Here in Australia, Koreans (like most immigrants) tend to cluster in suburbs together, suggesting they weren't trying to get away from each other.
