I have never played tomb raider that I remember before
I forced myself to try to play a tomb raider game that I could try for free
A bunch of movie scenes
The square enix logo appeared
Then you are stuck upside down and have to swing left & right until you get set on fire and can escape whatever is holding you upside down
Then you land with a knife in your thigh & have to press a button
I tried pessing the button repeatedly and holding the button nothing happened

You're probably thinking of kernel-level anticheat, which is more about running a process with full access to memory. You can just look on the internet to see if the game uses one of those, and then look into whether it hung around after uninstall and how to get rid of it if so.

They let you play games without installing them but they all use the same Luna App or a website with your amazon login credentials

Depends on the system. I think that, at a bare minimum, you would have to give root/admin/whatever permissions.

This is starting to sound like game streaming, ie. the game runs on their computer and you just pass input/output. If that's the case, they have no reason to do anything shady to your computer. Of course, they might just do it anyway.

Like maybe their privacy statement is long because they install spyware and then say you consented to it
Hopefully I have not ruined my device by trying tomb raider because they had a very extensive legal contract and I hope they did not edit my device by simply trying it on the luna standard that is a free additional feature with amazon prime
