I would be more scared of a goose sized horse than 100 horse sized geese because geese are more violent than horses on average

Geese from what I heard would probably attack their own pet owners when ducks would not or would not to the same degree for some species of ducks
Geese might also fly away and never come back unless you trim their flight feathers which you should not do unless you are qualified to know how to do so without killing or injuring the animal
Unless they do not fly away because they decided to keep you off your own property
And never come back

Are ducks common pets to begin with...? I want to live in this magical place.
All you have to do is convince the goose that it can't beat you, that doesn't seem too difficult (though I have yet to actually encounter a goose to fight), also give it some space that you never enter so it doesn't feel like it has no territory.
Trimming feathers isn't that hard, probably harder on geese than chickens since the goose would be more mad about the matter, but with 3 people it should be possible, though I'd have to seriously consider whether I'd rather just give it the option of leaving. Y'know, after a week of feeding it, if it runs away, it's going to realise that finding food is a lot more work than just sitting on its ass waiting for the next meal. (Whether a goose is able to retrace its steps is the next problem.)
The hardest part of convincing it that it can't beat you is doing so without also convincing it that you're a threat to flee from.
