DNA court forensics was pseudoscience all along but they are going to pretend it was just one bad actor when it took a whole aggregate of people who had to convince the public to have faith in DNA forensics for this hoax to work

The issue is not poor science, the issue is poor systems.
Administrators worth their salt would have checked accuracy by sometimes repeating tests with different people, sometimes with a different lab.
The weakness is in the legal profession.
Ideally one would also test prosecutors, give them made up cases, where it seems obvious that the accused is innocent, but there is also an obvious path to a conviction.
Similar as "double blind".
Those that take the bait go to jail.
