not exactly, it is more like MGTOW tells men that dating women is like walking through a minefield and then it hands you a map and tells you this is where we think the mines are, best of luck. it gives you a realistic perspective of what the dating and marriage situation with the modern woman is really like but it also offers you a new perspective in life that women should not be the end all and be all of men's existence.
Feels like victim mentality to me.
These evil modern women are tricky and keep hurting me.

I agree with part of what you say but lets not forget that it is not an even playing field, over 75% of divorces are filed by women, over 80% of those divorces are no fault divorce, aka I no longer feel the butterflies for you, aka I want to get to know myself but I get to keep the house, the car, and the kids and you have to pay me alimony while I bring in random men to our bed that you payed for.
