In the 1960's, America put a man on the moon.

Today, we couldn't do it. We don't have the intestinal fortitude to do it. As a nation, we no longer have the courage to try to accomplish something great. America has lost its spirit, and it has lost its belief in its own worth.

@amerika @Sigma progressivism and women rights too, in the end these are all just the different heads of the hydra, the main body of all of these different movements is communism.

@37712 @amerika

Actually, my views are closer to 18th-19th Century British radicalism than to communism.

@Sigma @37712

An important distinction to someone within the Left, I would think, but to outsiders, one is either on the path to Communism or not, and all egalitarian reforms lead to Communism or something like it.

However what I liked about the Victorian reformers was that they had a strong sense of fair play. Most of their ideas failed when applied, but they wanted to build self-esteem in the population.

All egalitarianism leads to Communism or something like it.

We can say that we want to be at Step Four instead of Step Seven, but in the end it does not make much difference.
