It was one of their very early episodes, when they where still figuring things politically/ideologically and like the second or third to actually feature the MM trio characters. They did a complete 1488 pretty quickly afterwards and he became the Trio's stalwart ally and mentor.

I think this was like 8 years ago at this point as well
