No easy way to say this.

Wonderdog, dog of my heart, died suddenly yesterday afternoon.

She went from snuggling to being very unwell very quickly, and after a rush trip to the emergency vets, we found out her gallbladder enzymes were at levels that indicated a ruptured gallbladder. (Normal levels 50-100, hers were 2000.)

She died being held in our arms, knowing she was loved, and in no pain.

It's very empty here without her.
