I think that it's appropriate to say that the U.S. military is well past its prime. Despite what the propaganda may imply, the military is far less capable than it used to be and is on its way to junkyard.

This military will eventually be relegated to the past tense and future generations will have difficulty believing that there was once one military that dominated the Earth.
