@Tfmonkey You have a lot of data that does not really need to be on a drive that could die at any moment, why not just burn your stuff in to a millenium disk (M-DISK), guaranteed to hold your data for 1000 years, burn it to the disk and just store it, this is the best way to store data for the posterity and it is private and no one can look at the stuff, specially if you encrypt the contents that you burn in to the Disk
