I've realized how silly it is to beat yourself over the head a hundred times for having once believe in something incorrect. The only wrong thing to do in that respect is to continue as if the truth you realized simply wasn't there or isn't so big of a deal. Making mistakes and sincerely believing in falsehoods is apart of life and learning of objective truth. "Seeking the grail" "finding hyperborea" "turning iron to gold" "finding the Philosopher's stone" or "chasing the horizon" and other euphemisms for trying to live in and emody truth isn't an path without difficulty, in fact difficulty is its most important fuel. I say this in hopes others realize this of themselves and learn to forgive themselves for once accepting false notions that may have lead to the wrong decisions being made. Without them, you wouldn't be where you are today, and you're certain to feel this way about yourself in the future. Its necessary for learning and unavoidable, so take pride in what you've learned so far and don't sweat it too much, not fir anyone elses sake, but for your own.
