| Retired Israeli General Warns of Potential Catastrophic Consequences
Retired General Yitzhak Brik has warned that if Iran’s strategic goals succeed, Israel could face total paralysis across its economy, military, and infrastructure.
Brik cautioned that continued war with Iran may be Israel’s most dangerous yet, citing Iran’s vast missile arsenal and growing nuclear capability. He said Iran’s strategy involves overwhelming Israel’s air defenses with a first wave of missiles, followed by a second, more destructive strike.
He noted the high cost of intercepting each missile is up to $7 million placing severe strain on Israel’s defense resources. Brik also cast doubt on the effectiveness of U.S. support, stating that even Washington doesn't believe in a military solution to Iran’s nuclear ambitions.
Criticizing the Netanyahu government, Brik accused leaders of ignoring home front vulnerabilities and compared them to the “three wise monkeys,” blind to mounting threats. He warned that a full-scale war with Iran could cripple Israel’s airports, seaports, and military capability—leading to economic collapse.
