People keep repeating "get woke, go broke", yet it took at least a decade for Paramout, one of the big guys, to finally fold. The fake Americn Budweiser is still in business. Many other brands too. So GWGB is not really working that well.

@Justicar "Get woke, go broke" is just another cuckservative copium expression, among many. It promotes the idea that "wokeness" is a cultural issue that can be defeated by voting with your wallet.

In truth, it's not corporations pushing wokeness out of "stupidity", but the government forcing it on everything and they have an infinite money printing machine.

The only ones going broke are Americans.

But outside of Right-wing grifter circles, I don't think people tend to use that expression.

@Based_Accelerationist i disagree. GWGB is simply logical conclusion to illogical behavior. you see your friend do stupid shit, you expect certain outcome to catch up with him in due time. that's all it is. the problem is that the companies are being fed tons of cash to continue to being loss-making, shareholder interests-ignoring, but degenerate content-producing entities. the entire behavior is illogical and goes against capitalism and common sense. so people, naturally, expect for it to end.
