@Zeb Well, currency collapse will happen, but it will be accompanied by war. So it's not as if the peasants will have the opportunity to riot.
Wars are great for culling purposes, but they also promote collectivism and ant-like behavior.

The whole purpose behind having a wife is to raise children, anything else is complementary at best. No man enjoys being a husband and a slave at the same time, you'd be emasculated by the government and then (rightfully so) by your own family. In addition, you'd have to live the rest of your days watching your children be broken.
You're choosing pointless torture over dying for your freedom, not a smart move.
