another interesting note about this type of music is in south africa. its very patriarchal. especially how is setup. you will have the top man clearly defined and leading through and through seting up the chorus for females to follow and females mostly repeat what he says. there is nothing like it in the west. and occasionally the leader will break the rythem forcing change through out the music. its like patriachy literaly designed the music. its amazing to listen to.

@dander how random, I grew up to this type of music my dad used to play this stuff all the time while driving. It's gospel music very popular in rural South Africa. Man listening to this gives me so much nalstolgia
