I think a bunch of normies (myself included) flooded the 2021 markets with the stimmy checks and unemployment, played on crypto, options, and margin. A percentage of them never left, creating more irrationality and chaos in the market. I got over the casino mentality as soon as I gained and lost a few thousand dollars in a few months and realized what risk tolerance was. The lesson wasn't too expensive.
@spectre It certainly incentivizes it, right? I forget every year the end of year market does this.
