@Justicar It is interesting that it's still roughly 50/50, but at the same time, given the population size and the the fact that the policy itself officially ended only 9 years ago (being replaced by the older "two child policy"), it's not surprising that the shift would be under 8 percent. In 2007, only 40% of people in China were directly affected by the one child policy due to various exceptions. The population of any human community, barring extremely strict enforcement will tend to 50/50.
