I'll never break up with a woman.
I'll never have an ex-girlfriend.
I'll never have to buy expensive Valentine's Day gifts.
I'll never have to pay thousands of dollars for an engagement ring.
I'll never have to pay tens of thousands of dollars for a wedding.
I'll never have to pay for health insurance for any dependants.
I'll never have to pay a divorce lawyer.
I'll never have to pay alimony.
I'll never have to pay child support.
I'll never have to pay for life insurance.

@echo All of these things can be true if you live in a patriarchal community: not the ring, the gifts, the wedding, etc. Those are always optional.

You might want to pay for health insurance, but if they're genuinely yours and not just on loan out of courtesy by the wife and the government, you'd want to.
