I remember reading about an issue a bunch of Airbus planes had where their angle of attack detectors suddenly thought the planes were stalling, so they pitched down suddenly and threw people into the ceiling, damaging the plane and injuring passengers. The only thing those planes had in common was being north of that corner of Australia. Investigators eventually decided it was just a computer glitch.
