The Molassian dog became less prevalent after the collapse of Rome, and was bred out. The Aurochs went extinct in 17th century due to hunting/habitat limitations, the Vertragus are ancestors of modern Grey Hounds, and The Caspian Tiger was declared extinct in 2003 due to hunting/habitat loss.
