@YoMomz i'm not in the uk. an no, there were never any hallucinogens in absinth., all the myths are coming from drunks when people did not dilute it as they should have. and the myth about green/dancing fairies comes from a substance in absinth that when being diluted produces shiny cloud effect. as i have said, all made up. i got this straight from a guy that makes and sells alcohol on a medium scale and who is writing a book about it becuase absinth specifically is kinda his passion.
