If you make your steaks on a pan, adding half of an onion cut to thick slices, when you flip the steak to the other side, is insanely tasty.

@Justicar I'm not a fan of onion on my steak but I did find some chunky onion seasoning for my burgers. On steak I pan sear with ghee and minced garlic after salting them.

@RoninGrey it does not change the taste of the steak at all. It just cooks in the fat and juices next to the steak on the pan for few minutes. As it has natural sugars it caramelizes a bit and after steak is done you just take it out and pour the fat and juices all over it and it's just heaven in your mouth.
