Since steal is so weak and melts so fast we started building 5 floor houses and apartments in wood. Because "it takes so long time for a wood beam to burn"

So it is not only climate and medicine that is haunted by pseudoscience.

They inconvenienced 99% of us by locking everything up instead of arresting the 13% that steals.

21 years ago I was working at a tech company outside of Boston and they announced over the loud speaker that everyone was to observe a moment of silence. I kept working. My cubicle neighbor started scolding me since he could hear the clicking. Those moments of silence were just to make people feel good about themselves it did not help the victims. I just wanted to get my work done and go home before the traffic got bad. These days, no more moments of silence.
