I’m not sure the UV-light is needed, but the sucking and the heat of the fan attracts blood suckers. But if used outside, this will kill a lot of beneficial flying insects.

Back before modern LED screens, there were unlit LCD screens. Without the backlight, they didn't emit any toxic blue light. I was wondering if you could find modern devices with LCD screens that would be easier on your eyes.
Turns out, you can. I think this'll be my next investment moving forward. I have to make a decision on what I need first: phone, tablet, laptop, or computer monitor
