Russia is Looking to Build its Own Linux Community After Expulsion Of Maintainers

Russia is deciding to build its own Linux community after the recent fiasco. What do you think?

Did you know that the Ancient White Men, by merely glancing at a circular object fixed on a wall with two sticks attached to the middle of it, could tell the time of either day or night? The magic they possessed was truly great and powerful. These White Men used their great gifts to benefit the entire world, which in a fit of jealous rage turned on the White Men and destroyed them. All that's left is a remnant of their knowledge which very few can understand...
Oh my.... I am so in love with this fine timepiece.

Look at the subtle thickness of the index, the chapter markers, my God, it even has the Berlin games from 1936 inscribed on the back. :FeelsLifeMan:

we need more men like this. i love he calls them "species" because they truly are from another planet.

I'm not seeing anyone talking about this. Am I the only one who thinks this is a big deal? Maybe I need to touch grass. Or smoke it. Or both.

You'd think the techstack's made from bob and vageen from how hard these 'jeets are raping it.

The knowledge died with boomers. I've been in skilled trades my entire adult life. The boomers all acted as gatekeepers, they refused to teach anyone what they knew because they were scared to lose their jobs. I don't have enough bad things or enough time to type out how they fucked the trades via unions, gatekeeping and fuckery.
@Escoffier Conversely (kinda) I made note of the fact that the mascot is a nod to Christian Pilgrimage, which I found interesting for a couple reasons:
1) Modern Christianity is rife with telescopic altruism, that helping some stranger is what makes a person better, so it was interesting that the mascot would have the theme of looking "within" rather than "without".
2) Christianity also suffers from being a group too easy to join and leave. I'm not a "Haj" fan for a huge number of (probably obvious) reasons, but a barrier to entry would make the "Christian Club" more appealing (i.e. "Oh you're a Christian? Which holy site did you make a pilgrimage to in the last five years?")

@Diogenese_Shiplap I saw Internet strangers wishing you a happy birthday and wanted to jump on the train. Here's to you maintaining verticality for another year. Thank you for your excellent posts and happy birthday.

You would be surprised. Most people are basically cripples thanks to the death of handwriting. A surgeon I know who teaches at a medical college says that most if not all of his students lack the fine motor control to cut cleanly and accurately, so he's having them do wrist and hand exercises so they can actually complete the practicals in the course
