What would possibly be the MOTIVATION behind a "cabal" at the Vatican to HIDE the actual demise of the Pope until after Easter?

@GluedToTheScreen I've had to check myself lately when someone says something crazy, and learned to take a step back and at least consider it.
And honestly, as far as reasons and motovations go, it could be anything from money and power to demonic magical numerology.
The world is pretty freaking crazy.
