My pastor is completely out of touch.
Complains that teens sleep with their phones next to them. Yeah, because that's their "evening book / reading material" AND their alarm clock.
Complains about a.i. companions solving relationships and loneliness. Yeah, because women are awful and no one helps or says anything.
^Wants deeper connections in our church, but never responds to messages asking him and his kids to do stuff with me and mine. Doesn't return texts or calls . . .

The remaining staff is the same. Awkward, can't connect. Too busy working on church tech and over-complicating things. Not studying the Word aside from daily Quiet Times and sermons. Quoting OTHER thinkers, and having bad takes when left on their own.
I'm taking the entire month of March off (and maybe more) and going church hunting.
