A lot of people appreciate the sacrifice Jesus made when He died for them. But, few appreciate the sacrifice He made by being the bad guy in the New Testament.... because there has been 2000 years of shit teaching to cover that up.
There is only really one thing that you MUST learn from the Old Testament. It is... that you cannot please God. It has countless stories, and examples, of people receiving instructions for, how to please God, and all of them failing.
But, what did Jesus find, when He walked the Earth? Well, for some reason, all of "God's people" thought they had learned how to please God! They had wisdom on the matter, instructions, traditions, dedication, to pleasing God.
So, Jesus, He plays the bad guy, for their benefit, and tells them, if someone beats you, cooperate with the beating, if someone steals from you, cooperate with their theft, what ever you have sell it and give it to the poor. If they are just trying to use you for all your worth, then be a good tool. Don't just do good for those who do good to you, anyone can do that, instead do good to those who do evil to you! Jesus told them, if they really wanted to please God, this is how they should try and do it!
I've heard these scripture taught on as the Law of Love, and they contain no love at all, the only love here, is the love that wants to force you to abandon your prideful heart.
There are people here on fedi, most of the Christians here, that mock the jews for the manipulations of scripture and the law to get around it, to keep some form of it, but not the spirit. And yet, I have seen those same people teaching others here on fedi, special interpretations for the very scriptures I mentioned, and other things Jesus said, so that they could technically keep them, but they were ignoring their spirit.
They are going to tell you, that even though your journey looks like leaving the forest and heading into the desert, that even though God is going to be distant, and cryptic, and harsh with you, to not worry! It is supposed to feel like that! That if your life resembling the curse from the Old Testament... that is just how life is! Don't think about it!
It is the biggest fucking lie ever.
My relief is that, there is a little time still left, and so, for some reason Jesus is allowing these things, that even eluded Luther and Paul, to be said plainly. And, it is because there is so little time, for someone to start a real friendship with Jesus, that He is now speaking plainly to the world.

Fool! Did you even read that list? All it would do is destroy you. You are not physically, or mentally capable of keeping the things on that list. If you put all your heart into keeping them your life would implode and you would die.
The only people who have fooled their own hearts into thinking they keep what Jesus taught, only practice a subset, that has been reinterpreted, and then only to the degree that they can bear it. That is to say, they are lying to God, and have filled their hearts with pride, that is a great barrier between them and Eternal Life.

Hmm, not right now xD At a bit of a pinch point in history.
Lots of people, too concerned with their lives, or families, or what they do doing to please God, to even notice that this age is about to end. Like speeding towards a cliff.
They don't have time, to actually get to know God, and at any other time in history, they'd probably have a decade or two or more to figure that out. But, right now?
Right now, if they can't see past the fake religion of modern Christianity, and connect to Jesus as a real person. Then they will probably completely lose their chance at Salvation.
They are speeding towards a cliff, and they are too busy driving the car, in a rush to where they are going, to even read the warning signs.
By my count, we have a little less than 2 years.
There may be some discontinuity in food and water and power, between then and now. I see people who are connected with God, seeing the signs, and preparing for the interrupters.
This is a good time for a little caution and a little preparation. And, hopefully people take some breaks in the days to come, to search their soul, and talk to Jesus. I see lots of people being FORCED to take breaks, but all they can think about is getting busy again xD
