@jeremiah @Ashedryden Unions unfortunately need to change their political affinity for Democrats and empowering minorities and women,I can see them training pajeets in the future,of chorus the contractors will create training programs for paths to citizenship and full membership as the work them at lower rates while Americans train them or become laid off
When people are hired for ticking racist boxes like skin color or absurd matters like sexual affinities instead of by merit, then everyone suffers: the coworkers, the company, and the clients/customers.
This is well illustrated with the DEI hires at the LAFD, for example, one of the administrative officers claiming that if a man is too heavy for a female fire fighter to carry, it's that person's problem for "being in the wrong place" who also stated it's important for people to "look like" the people they're serving.
Let's start with that problem, then we can move on political entanglements (Scott Walker vs. public unions corruption in Wisconsin is illustrative if you're unfamiliar.)
It's annoying to have mandatory union dues going almost exclusively to one political party, but its far worse to be hiring less than the best, especially in services where both workers and clients/customers lives and livelihoods are on the line.
