@blaaablaaaa @Hoss Real Estate will have to be torn away from the financial/investment markets before the healing can begin. The process of forcing real estate back into the commodities market would make a lot of people rope themselves but it's something I would kill to see accomplished.

Although I don't possess any of the reverence for vets that the propaganda wants me to have, I don't hold universal disdain for them. Only the ones that swallowed the bullshit and get irritated by my lack of thankfulness for their "service". I've met a lot of cynical ones who knew it was just a job opportunity they could take advantage of, and those guys seem like mostly good dudes. Also the guys who didn't get a choice, all the 'nam boomers I've ever met share much of my negative sentiments towards the military, and I'd never disparage any of those guys who were forced into something they never wanted any part in.

Humans way back when thought of family as a lifelong journey and the way to fulfillment and perseverance. Not today, kick em all out at 18 so you can free up all that extra time to resume your life and pursue your passions as sort of like a pre retirement before the real retirement. Why we're all atomized and divided. Every other culture is still on the old human program regarding family and all live in close knit multigenerational situations where everyone is growing up and old together, running businesses and shit, while we always have to rely on someone else to give us a job sweeping up their business. It's all been completely backwards and why so many of us are lost in life with no real incentive to do any of it
