Gen X did not get participation trophies.
That became popular in the early 80's. Pushed by Boomers who were eventually convinced of their neglect for their children.
That way everyone wins. We are finally equal. Like Communism.

@amerika @Cleverwittynamehere @Djeep @NashRicky I went to religion all white school in the south so no negroes on the team,or sodomy just fighting and bullying was common "The Undie Grundy" was a right of passage where a mob of older boys would grab you by your tighty whiteys and lift you 4 to 5 feet off the ground jumping up and down until they ripped,this activity led to me choking out a kid with the bench in-between the lockers never happened again after that
I think they called those "wedgies" and yes it attracted only the sadistic kids who ended up either serial killers or MBAs.
