@Terry Would only work for about three times a year, unless they plan to have a nuclear icebreaker escorting each convoy of cargo ships to break through the ice in spring and autumn.

Not a damn chance to go through there in Winter. So cargo shipping prices will still go up.

@greenshoots @Terry Russia and China are building more Icebreakers and Arctic ports for sure.Sea Ice loss in the Arctic is also a thing,I think the USA has the satellite Technology to actually focus sunlight from space to keep the passage open longer.And subs being modified for year round crossing
