2) Responsible for largest destruction of small business "Main Street" and largest financial heist by Wall Street in history during Covid lockdowns.
3) Tariff driven subsidies to corporations and price increases for the plebs.
4) Start Chaos in the middle east, leading to diesel Price increases (and thus proce increases in every good).
5) Here is Trump, announcing he is going to undercut domestic Beef production by flooding the market with foreign produced ground.
The Federal Government is a hostile, occupying force -- governed by the invisible hand of a 5th collumn.

Yeah, people from more challenging times might reasonably call us wimps for living in such an era of plenty - but it's draining to exist in a period of history when all of these systems that were made to keep us alive are slowly failing and/or being wrecked by weak and cowardly men.
Draining is a good description, and we live in comfort and plenty on one hand, and then on other ways we are impoverished and fragile:
Impoverished spiritually and philosophically, And fragile as atomized individuals facing the world (mostly) alone and unconnecte to community, clan or family.

And all expectations are that it's gonna get a fair bit worse before it gets any better... It's hard to justify planning for a brighter future.
Gonna disagree with you, friend. The brighter future is exactly the spiritual mission required here. Build a useful lifeboat, because during the flood all the Noahs out there are going to raft up.
