Americans are outraged about Pakistan and Walmart, but no one cares about CIA torture.
Most of them only care about their little bubble that surrounds them. If they get a glimpse of the world outside they quickly decide there isn't anything they can do about it, even if they cared at all.

@wejappe And they're 100% correct. They don't waste time and energy on topics, that have no effect on them and they can't change. The work of the secret service isn't the average voters business, because have a much harder job, than they do.
