From a network logistics perspective, this sort of shit is a nightmare - normal AI's are already rendering many small sites and forums unusable - panopticon garbage like this is going flat out kill much of the free web. It becomes indistinguishable from a DDOS attack, and unless the network admin wants to spend uncountable hours setting up mouse-traps (that only work for a while before the AI adapts) I don't even know what the solution is. Locking down site content behind passwords and curated communities?

My website gets fucking hammered by AI's despite me intentionally leaving it http and using every flavor of no-robots .txt imaginable. We have the ONLY guides to several obscure games, and those pages get blasted constantly. It's been months since anyone can use our forums since there are 70,000+ people "viewing the site." (About 60 actual users).

This is what happens when our users try to post something - all because of AI scraping.

Looks like a few experimental tiles deposited an orange coloring on top of the other tiles during Ship 37’s re-entry.

EDIT: that orange substance is rust from experimental metallic heat shield tiles.
