Incidentally, in the 1970s comic books were even cheaper than their cover price implied as newstands could get credit by slicing off the title section of the cover of unsold books at the end of the month. They were then supposed to dispose of the books, but of course these sleazy heebs (newstands are a very jewish business) were not above throwing them in a bin at the front for a dime when the cover price was rising from 20 cents to 50 cents between 1970 and 1980.
