The country doesn't actually show loyalty to their veterans anyways.
If anything they use marriage/divorce as a tool to make men military slaves. By giving the divorcing unloyal ex-wife most of the man's benefits and sticking him with an alimony bill that ensures he can be sent off to the worst locations.

Hell, after watching too much MSM my father tried to convince me that the Iran war started because Iran was blockading the straight.
