Scott Adams, pbuh, did a nice summary of the Trump negotiating playbook. Viciously abuse anyone who opposes you, heap praise on anyone who helps you, flip between them from moment to moment depending on whether the person across the table is in support or opposition.

This works on more people than you'd think.

Iran is still being rational so they could accept a deal. Trump wants to make one. Ironically his tactics for getting to yes are making Iran say no. He's using the tricks that worked in the GOP primaries on a foe that does not brook disrespect.

@judgedread People might find it hypocritical for Tucker to suddenly go so hard against Trump after carrying water for him for so long, but a charitable interpretation would be that until recently Tucker still had Trump's ear and at least had a CHANCE to persuade him to not invade Iran - but this required Trump never actually being criticized, because Orange Fag really is that big of a baby.

Now that Tucker is on Trump's blacklist, nothing is gained from pulling his punches.
