“It was stupid when you posted it and it still is [My post on Chinese development of reusable rockets]“

“China will never land an orbital booster”

Heard that many times from the online political pundit crowd.

@alexmussolini88 @strypey

Those who beat their swords into plowshares, will plow for those who didn’t.

Your standard online political pundits knowing jack shit about the modern state of 21st Century military technology 🚀.

Also, online political pundits not knowing that #China possesses nuclear weapons.

@fromkulak Their firm stand against participating in any of the children's activities associated with Halloween. Yet migrant rapes and murders, Israeli genocide, vaccinations, are met with weak sauce, Well, what can I do?

They won't do any that would entail serious and perhaps life changing pushback. But dunking on a children's holiday? No problem.

@bajax I feel like I know this kind of dude without even knowing him.

Yeah there are some slugs out there, mediocre assholes you know?
@ins0mniak the way the store manager talked to her, rolled his eyes when she talked about needing to take time for medical reasons etc kinda made me sick too. she'd been working there for decades, long enough to actually get their shitty health insurance, and you could tell he wanted to make her quit
@bajax yup I know exactly what kind of person you're talking about. They always have the absolute shittiest people skills. For them their shit position is the best they can do so its life or death to them.

I once had a guy like that just start chewing me out...something crazy minor that I could have corrected in 2 seconds, but this fucker started trynna dress me down lol. My Air Force Colonel dad never even talked to me that way after I wrecked his fuckin car.

Needless to say I waited until the right moment to cause maxiumum stress to the guy and quit.

“The next steps to test were ship payload deployment using the pez system for Starlink and, eventually, Starmind satellites; then an in-space burn to ensure the ship could relight in space; atmospheric reentry at orbital speeds; and finally the flip and burn on target. The reason for doing all of this in a suborbital trajectory was to ensure that no matter what issues the ship encountered in the coast phase, it would reenter over water. The last thing SpaceX would want is to go into orbit and then be unable to deorbit a 52-meter-long, 9-meter-wide stainless-steel vehicle with a heat shield.“

"Ship 40’s flawless flight promotes next mission catch potential"

"SpaceX’s Starship Flight 13 demonstrated that the Ship can complete its mission and return intact, surviving water impact without destruction. The Booster, however, remains a work in progress as SpaceX continues refining the clean-sheet Block 3 design."

@leyonhjelm

“this thread is the gayest shit ever. You don’t sink US Navy ships. You mission kill them. Americans will move the earth and the heavens to fix them out of sheer pride at astronomical cost instead of putting the effort into the fight.”

“Between morale problems and poor quality a mission kill is as likely from within as without. Tying up the US Navy isn’t a serious challenge and not something worth bragging about”

This is even dumber on second look.

This was a reply to China’s intentions in the future of warfare, not on what Iran should do.

#IFT13 update.
Elon Musk said that SpaceX will try to recover Ship 40 for more inspections, instead of scuttling it.

@admin You can say that with some confidence because you live here. In Iran they have to engage in telescopic precognition. They can't be sure. That's why they hesitate.

US power projection, for now, is completely dependent on air support. China knows this, but retards stuck in the previous Century don’t.

“High Speed Low Drag Operators” are hype.
