Disney's pro-space television shows were written to appeal to the normies of the day. This is obvious in the slow introduction, full of lighthearted humor and conventional cartoon characters serving as an everyman proxy for the viewer, preceding the increasingly radical payload in act three.

By the third episode, Mars and Beyond, it reaches a crescendo of weirdness, with a Basil Wolverton menagerie of wild Martian beasts, each exceeding the last in uncanny monstrosity.

@StarProphet The other two episodes, Man and the Moon and Mars and Beyond, are also great. Particularly Man and the Moon which is practically a feature film on a lunar mission - a LIVE ACTION feature with incredible special effects, sets, costumes and models.

Mars and Beyond, once you get past the tedious opening to ease the normies into it, features an absolutely insane Basil Wolverton menagerie of martian beasts!
