Elon is right about one thing: On the cosmic scale of time, it is absolutely critical that we begin exploring and colonizing the stars. I don’t like to think about it, but one day, this beautiful little planet that we are riding through space and time will be uninhabitable. Space- and that breathtaking velvety black expanse full of shimmering ghost lights- are our birthright and they are the only way our species will continue to survive in the coming eons. I can assure you that there will never be any exploration of space or colonization without White Engineers. We are not only fighting a war against our own planned extinction as a people, but on the grand scale we are in a race against time that is measured in millennia and planetary-level extinction events. All that ever was and all that will ever be is contained in the life on our Earth. There is no hope for the continuation of life anywhere else without us. Do you think filthy pajeets and haitians are capable of inventing and building those necessary technologies to sail through the Heavenly Black Sea and plant the seeds of life untold lightyears away, elsewhere? Our extinction would cause the hope of all life- intelligent or not- to eventually die with us. Meaning: All species of plants and animals would then be stranded forever on a planet that would eventually die.
We aren’t just fighting to save ourselves. There’s so much more to it than that. The reality of it all is much more stressful. We are at war with the nameless forces of extinction, entropy and chaos…with higher stakes than anyone could presently imagine. Our end would eventually amount to the end of everything. Remember that The Stars are our birthright. And that we carry the literal weight of an entire world on our shoulders.
No pressure.
